So what's up with Qwest? Is it soooooooooooo fricking hard to get an order right?
I called them last Thursday to get my phone number changed when I discovered that they'd made a BIG mistake ( way back in February ) by not giving me an unlisted and unpublished number! You can bet your sweet anchovy I've been PAYING for that service though!
So no problem right? Wrong. The dude puts in the order for a new number, at NO charge to me since they had somehow screwed up, and it was due to take effect in 24 hours. That was his first mistake. With high speed DSL, it takes 3 days, NOT 24 hours.....
The next day I, being of much faith and little skeptisim, told my apt. manager my new number so she could program it into the apt. buzzer system. YEP, it didn't work, nor did my new number.....so much for 24 hours....
I called Qwest to find out what had happened with my new number, and find out why my "line block" wasn't working, that was suposed to have been on my service too....well this lady put in an order so that when I call people my number won't show up, and also cancelled the order for the Direct TV service. So I went on my merry little way...
Saturday morning the Direct TV guy calls, he was downstairs and ready to install the Direct TV service, ahhhh the one that got cancelled............
So today, being as I STILL didn't have the damn new number on my line, I gave Qwest a call. I wanted to know what the problem is that I didn't have my new number in place, and why the guy showed up after that order was cancelled, as promised, and in general was I asking for too much?
So now a competant lady by the name of Christina is working hard to get things turned around. She's not going to have Direct TV installed free of charge for me, paid for life, however I should have my new number, hopefully within 24 hours, with her supervisors help ( overriding the system).
Is it Friday yet?
