An Ole joke
Published on October 3, 2007 By Trudygolightly In Humor

And now,  an entry from "Donald" ...a little something he submitted to Bulletin Board at the Pioneer Press.

"A Swede in Wisconsin, named Ole,  got pulled over by a state trooper for speeding.  The trooper started to lecture Ole about his speeding_and in general began to throw his weight around,  to try to make Ole uncomfortalbe.

"Finally,  the trooper got around to writing out the ticket.  As he was doing that,  he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing around his head.

"Then Ole says:  'Well,  circle flies are common on farms.  See,  they're called circle flies because they're almost always found circling around the back end of a horse.'

"The trooper says 'OHh' and goes back to writing the ticket.  Then after a minute,  he stops and says: 'Are you tring to call me a horse's ass?'

"Ole says:  'Oh no,  officer.  I have too much repect for law enforcement and police officers to even think about calling you a horse's ass.'

"The trooper says 'Well,  that's a good thing' and goes back to writing the ticket.  "After a long pause,  Ole says:  'Hard to fool them flies,  though.'"

Reminds me of the guy who asked the cop if he could get in trouble for calling the cop a son of a bitch. The cop told him that, yes, indeed he could. So then the guy asked the cop if he could get in trouble if he just thought the cop was a son of a bitch and the cop said that no, he couldn't get in trouble for that.

So then the guy told the cop "Good. Then I think you're a son of a bitch."

I got both and enjoyed them equally as well.

To those who don't get 'em, here's a hint: these jopkes are better told than read. Reading them aloud might help.
